The reconstruction of Edenville Energy
“…From news light to news heavy as Edenville Energy refreshes and revitalises operational strategy…”
With a clear pathway to becoming debt-free within a year Edenville Energy is strengthening the foundations for a potential power plant in Tanzania.
It already operates the Rukwa Coal Project in southwest Tanzania and the company’s cash position is also expected to be further strengthened by increased production and sales of washed coal from its flagship Rukwa mine during the course of this year.
January’s oversubscribed placing demonstrates shareholder confidence the company is now in a position to identify new potential projects that could be accretive to the company.
At the helm of operational change is newly appointed director Nicholas von Schirnding. Previously CEO of Asia Resource Minerals and the current Executive Chairman of Arc Minerals, Nick has a reputation for restructuring open pit coal mining operations and identifying complimentary opportunities.
And as he explains to Sarah Lowther he isn’t afraid of getting his hands dirty when it comes to the nitty gritty of operational and personnel deconstruction and reconstruction.
