Let’s crank up the drilling and bake ourselves a cake

Many corporate presentations by exploration companies have been accused of being inaccessible, for being too tech heavy and bewildering for the average shareholder.
Two things for URU Metals – its technical data is easily understood and most of its shareholders are above average in their understanding of the sector, the company dynamics and the potential of the company’s Zeb nickel project in South Africa.
URU’s VP of Exploration Richard Montjoie not only gets the data that the project is presenting but he gets what investors can easily digest when he talks to them about the nickel, copper, and platinum group metals the company is exploring for and the proof it has they are there.
And what is comforting is that what is there is accessibly close to surface.
“We’ve recently acquired some beautiful, high resolution airborne geophysical data that consists of magnetics and gravity,” says Montjoie which “allows us to effectively see underground. Think of it as an MRI for the earth.”
With that MRI analogy firmly in investor stream of consciousness and displayed in friendly photographic medium, the Zeb project is understandable to the geological layman and it’s not just colourful, but demonstrates the pathway URU Metals must take to make the project commercial.
As Richard tells Sarah Lowther in this video interview the way to do that is a bit more geophysical modelling and drilling which further enhances the pathway to the mining right milestone.
