When Mike Whitlow joined ECR Minerals (LON:ECR) in 2023, his appointment as Managing Director was met with open arms and scepticism in equal measure.
Up till then Whitlow was the very recognisable market commentator ‘The Doc’ known as being the scourge of ineffectual management and wasteful decisions. He spoke up for the shareholder and was the nemesis of many managers.
Whitlow has now stepped down from his role at ECR and in this interview with Sarah Lowther discusses achievement, disappointment, what he’s going to do with his 70 million shares, what’s in store for the company he admires and his own journey outside the company in his role as consultant.
