We join the company In the wake of the recent board changes at Great Western Mining, in addition we learn more about it’s most recent placing, Sarah Lowther caught up with newly promoted Brian Hall to talk more about his new outlook. Brian has spent virtually his entire career in natural resources, commencing in the North Sea oil industry in the 1970s. In 1991 he formed and became CEO of Aminex PLC, an international oil and gas company, launching a successful venture into Russia in 1993 and distributing the exit profits to shareholders in 2001. He has worked in many countries and has guided Aminex, where he was chairman until 2018, through several significant ventures. Earlier in his career, he was part of the team which developed Argyll, the UK’s first offshore producing oilfield and he subsequently founded Halyard Offshore, an oil industry services company. He is a Chartered Accountant.

Great Western Mining has a large tract of acreage in the appropriately named Mineral County, Nevada. The area contains rugged, mountainous terrain, which means that there are still large areas that are under-explored. Mineral County is rich in gold, silver, and copper.  Great Western’s six distinct concession areas offer the potential for exploiting (1) long-term, world-class copper deposits and (2) short term gold and silver deposits.
